I used a combination of three woods with nearly the same hardness, but with distinctly different colors: a very light hard maple, a darker mahogany, and the darkest TPK teak. To make this 3D cutting board, there are several steps involved in gluing. First, we leveled the boards to the same thickness using a bench planer, then we cut them at a 30-degree angle on a table saw, as shown in the video. After that, we glued the three boards together using Presto WRG (water-resistant glue), which is formaldehyde-free and food-safe, ensuring safety when in contact with food. After the glue dries, we cut it cross-cut using a miter saw (you can also use a table saw with a mallet). Then, we glue it back together using the same glue, Presto WRG. After waiting for it to dry, we then proceeded to smooth the surface of the board using a sander. Finally, after the glue dries, we apply a food-safe finishing touch.
