(8/12 Port) ACA Allertor 125 Siren Test | Full Alert | Lee's Summit, MO | 8/4/21

Location: SW Alley behind Local Foundery System: Lee's Summit Test time: 1st Wednesday of the month at 11 AM Enthusiasts present: Tommy (Tommy's Sirens & Aviation) For test 2 of 4 on the 1st Wednesday during KSMO, while most of the group went over to Lake Lafayette's analog WS-3000, Tommy and I went over to Lee's Summit to record this very rare 8/12 port Allertor. This was another bucket list siren of mine, so it was awesome to finally get to hear one of these in person. This thing was insanely loud, one of the loudest sirens I've heard. It peaked at 120 dBC from roughly 50 feet from the poles. This thing also has an interesting mount, and it appears to be slightly crooked, because I had my cameras fairly level. Regardless, this was a very cool siren to experience up close, and I really hope to experience a 10/12 Allertor at some point as well. On our way to this siren, I left an audio recorder at the sick 1000 off of Highway 50 to hear how it's doing, so stay tuned for that. Enjoy!
