23 and 22 Meter Bands - Spies, Dissidents and Broadcasts

Both the 23 and 22 Meter bands are very similar to the 35 Meter band - only these frequencies (12200-14000 khz) host a variety of numbers, military and unusual digital signals - definitely for spies in the field receiving coded messages. Also, it's one of the main shortwave broadcast bands of 13500-13900 khz. I mention dissidents due to the number of Sound of Hope (SOH) broadcasts. The good news is that most shortwave radios from the cheapest $10 portables to high-end receivers can pick up many of these. 35 Meter Band - More on Digital HF signals:    • 35 Meter Shortwave Band - Digital Secrets ...   ALE Overview: http://www.commswg.site/_hf_radio/ale... 00:00 - Intro and band overview 01:49 - FCC allocations 02:40 - Numbers stations 05:11 - Military ALE hf 07:06 - 22 Meter shortwave broadcast 09:57 - Digital and voice examples 13:58 - Beacons Music Credit: "Celestial Echos" - generated by Udio - https://www.udio.com/ Some Numbers Stations example on other channels: 12202 - E11 Numbers Station -    • E11 Numbers Station @ 08:45 UTC   12208 - V07 Numbers Station (   • Numbers station, Spanish language, ENIGMA ...   12212/3 - E07a Numbers Stations (Russian - English man    • Russian E07a "English Man" number station ...  ) 12227 - XPA2 Russian Spy dual tone (   • Russian Spy Number station XPA2 Polytone m...  ) 12229 - E11 Numbers Station -    • E11 Oblique 12229 kHz
