193 miles in 39 hours without sleep - West Highland Way Double by MTB Solo & Unsupported
Riding the West Highland Way Double by MTB - 193 miles and 6,718m elevation in one ride! Milngavie to Fort William and back to Milngavie again by mountain bike in 39 and a half hours. There were some fantastic trails in there but also a lot of hard climbs and some brutal weather near Fort William. Without a doubt the biggest adventure I've taken on! I decided to do it solo and unsupported too as a challenge for myself to see if I could cope - it definitely made things harder but I don't regret it! Here's the Strava! / strava
