I came for a janitor interview and became Director

What if the most dangerous place in the world looked like a boring government office? In this first recorded episode of my Control playthrough, Jesse Faden arrives at the Federal Bureau of Control looking for answers about her missing brother Dylan, who was taken 17 years ago. But the second she steps inside the Oldest House, everything feels wrong: strange rules, impossible office policies, cryptic collectibles, a very suspicious janitor, and a building that clearly does not follow normal reality. I’ve played Control before, but this is my first time replaying it after experiencing Alan Wake, so I’m paying much closer attention to the lore, the Alan Wake connections, the Bureau documents, the Altered World Events, and all the strange little details I missed before. And then the “job interview” takes a turn. Jesse finds the Service Weapon, survives the Astral Plane, hears the Board, and somehow goes from potential janitor’s assistant to Director of the Federal Bureau of Control. Quests / story beats in this episode: Jesse enters the Oldest House First look at the Federal Bureau of Control Meeting Ahti the janitor Finding early Bureau collectibles and lore Learning about Altered World Events and Objects of Power Discovering Trench and the Service Weapon Jesse becomes Director First Hiss encounters Cleansing the first Control Point This is my YouTube-first recorded playthrough with story-first pacing, lore curiosity, and honest reactions. Please avoid major spoilers in the comments. Hints, lore context, and “you may want to pay attention to this” comments are always welcome. #Control #ControlGame #RemedyEntertainment #AlanWake #GamingPlaythrough #LetsPlay #StoryGames
