In this week's video, I'll show you how to replace the headlight lens on a Harley-Davidson Sportster with a 5 3/4" headlight. In this case, we replaced the original glass lens, which was broken, with a new universal-style lens compatible with most Harley-Davidson models. During the process, we explain how to open the headlight, check the electrical system, and fix a problem with the bulb connector, which was burnt. We cleaned the wiring, installed a new bulb holder, soldered the connections, and protected everything with heat-shrink tubing. Finally, we adjusted the new lens to ensure it was properly aligned.
