A Giant Camera You Can Step Inside | DIY Camera Obscura Build

Ever wondered what it would be like to step inside a camera? In this video, I build a giant walk-in camera obscura using a refrigerator box, black paper, and a single tiny hole. No lens. No sensor. Just light. You'll learn how the camera obscura works, how I set it up, and what happens when light from the outside world projects an inverted image onto a white screen inside the box. I experiment with different pinhole sizes, talk about the effect of light levels outside, and even show how the shape of the hole affects the image. I also explore a flexible setup using two boxes connected by fabric, and I record a timelapse from inside the camera using an iPad. The result? A fascinating blend of ancient optical science and modern digital capture. #CameraObscura #DIYPhotography #PinholeCamera Whether you’re into DIY photography projects, pinhole cameras, camera history, or just love weird creative builds, this project shows how you can make a working optical device with simple materials—and see the world in a whole new way. #GiantCamera #OpticalExperiments #PhotographyBasics #CameraHistory #LightAndShadow #WalkInCamera #CreativeBuilds #cardboardcamera 0:00 Intro 0:29 Materials & build 1:20 First look 1:36 Science behind it 1:56 Modifications 3:46 History 4:47 Wrap up Photographic equipment that I often use: Nikon Z9: https://tinyurl.com/phototoolkitnikonz9 Nikon Z8: https://tinyurl.com/phototoolkitnikonz8 Nikon D850: https://tinyurl.com/phototoolkitnikon...
