Loch Etive | Solo hike'n'fish in December

My final fling for 2023 sees me grabbing some December sunshine as I hike down Loch Etive for a few hours shore fishing. I clobbered a deer back in November so I've been off the road whilst my car was getting fixed up, and this is my first time fishing for several weeks. It's as much a hike as a fishing trip as my mark is miles down the loch, along a very squelchy path. Given just how beautiful Etive is, I'm perfectly happy to put in a few miles even if it means less time to chase the small spurdog that live up here. December days are very short so I set off before sunrise and still managed to spend the last hour bog hopping in the dark!
