Fighting against your brothers Every day now Fighting against your sisters It’s a disgrace now Don’t be like the protestant and catholic Who are killing them, one another Don’t be like the protestant and catholic Who are killing them, one another Let me tell you now, We don’t want no tribal war Natty dread I said We, oh no, don’t want no tribal war Round here. It’s up and down On the universe Cause the people not attended To Jah righteous word I don’t know why It’s full time now For them to stop fight against one another For people I say, yeah It’s going to cause a great big disaster Let me tell you now, We don’t want no tribal war Natty dread I said We, oh no, don’t want no tribal war Round here. We no want, we no want We no want, we no want No tribal war It’s going to be dread We no want, we no want We no want, we no want No tribal war In dis here land We no want, we no want We no want, we no want No tribal war Destruction I say We no want, we no want We no want, we no want No tribal war Why can’t we live together?
