FOLLOW NANCI & ORDER FROM HER BAKERY ►FaceBook:   / nancisbakeshop   ►Instagram:   / nancisbakeshoppe   ►Tumblr:   / www   ►Twitter:   / nancisbakeshopp   #CINHK #CookingInNancisHomeKitchen #NancisBakeShoppe ▼APPLE COBBLER RECIPE▼ ======================== Ingredients: •5 apples •1 stick unsalted butter •1 ¾ cups all purpose flour •2 teaspoons cinnamon •¼ teaspoon nutmeg •1 ½ cups packed brown sugar •1 cup sugar •2 ¼ teaspoons baking powder •¾ teaspoon salt •1 ½ cups milk Directions: •Preheat an oven to 350 degrees. •Peel, slice and place in a bowl 5 apples. •Cut the unsalted butter into cubes and place at the bottom of a 9x13 inch pan. •Place the pan in the 350 degree oven for 5 minutes, or until the butter has melted. •While the butter is melting, add to the apples slices and toss by hand ¼ cup of all purpose flour, the cinnamon, nutmeg and brown sugar. •In a separate bowl, stir together 1 ½ cups all purpose flour, the sugar, baking powder and salt. •Stir in the milk until fully incorporated to complete the batter. •Once melted, take the butter out of the oven and pour the batter into the pan. •Pour on top of the batter, but do not stir in, the apple slices and spices. •Bake in a 350 degree oven for 40 minutes, or until the batter is golden brown and no longer runny. •Let cool for an hour before serving.
