A classic work famously attributed to the renowned calligrapher, Wang Xizhi. And also famous for being copied by Empress Kōmyō of Japan. However, "Le Yi Lun" is not Wang Xizhi's writing. It dates back to the time when Le Yi, a general of the Warring States period, lived, later, a politician wrote a treatise praising him, Wang Xizhi was impressed by the writing and copied it, and Empress Kōmyō further copied Wang Xizhi's calligraphy. A story passed down for 1000, even 2000 years. Deepen your understanding of classical calligraphy. *Please note that this video does not provide rigorous historical analysis.
