I'm going into Biedronka to see what it's like to work at Poland's most popular discount store! I'll be spending my shift here to show you how the store is being prepared for its opening. Together with Magda (Store Manager) and the team, I'll be walking through all the departments: from cashiering, through baking, to mopping the floor with a machine! 💰 Salary and Benefits (as of 2023): STARTING SALARY: Base salary is PLN 3,750 gross + discretionary bonus + attendance bonus. BAKERY: I'll show you how fresh rolls and bread are baked overnight so they're crispy in the morning! Be careful of the hot steam from the oven! Remember: we wait 10 minutes after the bell rings! FLOOR MOISTURE: At the end of my shift, I get on the scrubber and make a splash in the store! 🥦 CHALLENGE: Wojtek vs. Deputy Manager! TASK: Who can shop for fruit and vegetables for closer to 25 PLN (without weighing!)? RESULT: A thrilling duel! See who won and how many pennies I missed!
