The whole village used to dance according to their tune. But in that same village an honest and respectable teacher, affectionately called Masterji (Vinod Mehra) on his own singular strength was trying to educate the entire village and improve their living. Thakur could not bear this. So, he made Kalia instrumental and managed to finish the teacher-he was murdered. The teacher's younger brother Arjun (Dharmendra) could not bear this grief of his brother's death. He aimed an axe at Kaalia and wanted to kill him. However, Kaalia escaped and managed to catch Arjun. He was taking Arjun away with him but somehow Arjun luckily escapes from his hands. Masterji's wife Durga (Aruna Irani) vows in front of the Statue of Mother Durga at her temple that she may make her children brave as lions so that one day she may come back to the village and take revenge against Thakur and Kaalia. Time passed by. Arjun aIways was in great grief owing to his separation from his sister-in-law who was just like his mother and her children. After a long time Durga came back to the village with his grown-up children. Munimji's daughter Dhanno (Sonam) falls in love with Vijay (Chunky Pandey), Durga's son. The unjust ways of Thakur went on increasing day by day. Thakur tried to molest the Pujari's daughter but Arjun foils his bid and he kills him. Directed by Kuku Kohli Written by Kuku Kohli, Dr. Rahi Masoom Reza(dialogues) Starring - Dharmendra, Chunky Pandey, Sonam, Sadashiv Amrapurkar, Amrish Puri Music by Bappi Lahiri रमेशपुर गाँव में, ठाकुर (सदाशिव अमरापुरकर) और कालिया सिंह (अमरीश पुरी) अपने क्रूर अन्यायी शासन के साथ सभी शक्तिशाली थे। सारा गाँव उनकी धुन पर नाचता था। लेकिन उसी गाँव में एक ईमानदार और सम्मानित शिक्षक, जिन्हें प्यार से मास्टरजी (विनोद मेहरा) कहा जाता था, अपने अकेले दम पर पूरे गाँव को शिक्षित करने और उनके जीवन को बेहतर बनाने की कोशिश कर रहे थे। ठाकुर को यह सहन नहीं हुआ. इसलिए, उसने कालिया को साधन बनाया और शिक्षक को खत्म करने में कामयाब रहा-उसकी हत्या कर दी गई। शिक्षक का छोटा भाई अर्जुन (धर्मेंद्र) अपने भाई की मौत का यह गम बर्दाश्त नहीं कर सका. उसने कालिया पर कुल्हाड़ी मारी और उसे मारना चाहा। हालाँकि, कालिया भाग निकला और अर्जुन को पकड़ने में कामयाब रहा। वह अर्जुन को अपने साथ ले जा रहा था लेकिन किसी तरह भाग्यवश अर्जुन उसके हाथ से निकल जाता है। मास्टरजी की पत्नी दुर्गा (अरुणा ईरानी) अपने मंदिर में मां दुर्गा की मूर्ति के सामने प्रतिज्ञा करती है कि वह अपने बच्चों को शेर की तरह बहादुर बनाएगी ताकि एक दिन वह गांव वापस आ सके और ठाकुर और कालिया से बदला ले सके। समय बीतता गया। अर्जुन हमेशा अपनी भाभी, जो बिल्कुल उसकी माँ और उसके बच्चों की तरह थी, से अलग होने के कारण बहुत दुःख में रहता था। काफी समय बाद दुर्गा अपने बड़े हो चुके बच्चों के साथ गांव वापस आया। मुनीमजी की बेटी धन्नो (सोनम) को दुर्गा के बेटे विजय (चंकी पांडे) से प्यार हो जाता है। ठाकुर के अन्यायी आचरण दिन-ब-दिन बढ़ते ही गये। ठाकुर ने पुजारी की बेटी से छेड़छाड़ करने की कोशिश की लेकिन अर्जुन ने उसकी कोशिश को नाकाम कर दिया और उसने उसे मार डाला। ठाकुर की मौत का बदला लेने के लिए कालिया गांव आता है। अर्जुन और पूरे गांव का सामना कालिया से होता है, लेकिन कालिया दुर्गा को कैद करने में सफल हो जाता है, विक्की, विजय और विशाल अपनी मां दुर्गा को छुड़ाने के लिए घातक प्रयास करते हैं। कुकू कोहली द्वारा निर्देशित कुकू कोहली, डॉ. राही मासूम रज़ा (संवाद) द्वारा लिखित कलाकार - धर्मेन्द्र, चंकी पांडे, सोनम, सदाशिव अमरापुरकर, अमरीश पुरी संगीत बप्पी लाहिरी का है Like, Comment and Share with your friends and family.
