Ancient Greek Lesson 21: The Third Declension Part 1
https://buymeacoffee.com/LearnAncient... In this lesson, I explain how the third declension differs from the other two declensions; I explain what the “oblique stem” is; I state the basic endings for masculine and feminine third declension nouns and the basic endings for neuter third declension nouns; and I explain how 3a nouns and 3b nouns decline. Taught by David Luchford #ancientgreek #languagelearning Please note that there is a small mistake at the end of this video - namely, when I list the vocab at 1:04:19, παις should be stated as meaning "child, boy; slave; girl" - I accidentally put "woman" instead of "girl" and I apologise for this mistake. I provided the correct meanings earlier on in the video, thankfully.
