We're approaching the first 1,000 kilometers and thus the first service check. The next major service for this Triumph isn't due until 16,000 kilometers. We probably won't reach that many, but the trusty 400cc bike, along with the Beta Alp 4.0, will have to prove itself on at least one long trip. The plan is to go to France, over mountains, and last a week. Until then, probably in September, we still need to properly and, of course, gently break in the 40-hp single-cylinder engine. #triumphmotorcycle #scrambler400x
