Titleist Listened: LinksLegend 5-Way Review

The original LinksLegend Members bag was already one of the best-looking golf bags on the market—but golfers had a few common criticisms. Titleist listened. The new LinksLegend 5-Way addresses nearly every complaint with thoughtful improvements: a larger top, more storage, better proportions, and increased overall usability, all while adding just 0.3 lbs over the Members bag. It’s one of those rare product updates where nearly every change genuinely makes the experience better. At $470, the price will undoubtedly raise eyebrows. But when you consider that this is a premium bag sold through retail stores—not direct-to-consumer—the economics start to make more sense. After retailer margins, Titleist’s wholesale price is likely much lower, which also suggests this is an expensive bag to manufacture in the first place. It’s not perfect, though. While the body of the bag received meaningful refinements, the shoulder strap system remains largely unchanged. I would have loved to see the same level of attention given to carry comfort. In this review, I take an in-depth look at the design, storage, materials, carry experience, and whether the LinksLegend 5-Way justifies its premium price. If you’re considering one, hopefully this review helps you decide whether it’s worth adding to your bag lineup.
