This is probably the most expensive brunch or meal I've ever had. Alone, I couldn't even fathom the thought of such a meal, but with this great YouTube community and my friend Lois joining, this is a celebration and immensely grateful to get to share this with you. On our visit to San Francisco and the surrounding Bay Area, we found a very unique brunch! It's like a buffet, but the items are made to order and plated perfectly to your table. Fine dining mixed with the fun and curiosity of the buffet/AYCE. However, after looking at the price, we did somewhat of a double-take. Priced at $200 - $250 per person (depending on the dates), and an extra $50 per guest for a window seat, we debated long and hard. Perhaps, it was the "revenge travel" after these last two years, or just celebrating that we get to see each other in person, but we decided to indulge; and indulge we did! Gracious and welcoming hosts like Aura and Jeff made the brunch special as we were guided through a menu exquisite dishes; all of which garnered the muttering of "it's the best I've ever had"... From the beluga caviar taster at the start, to the lobsters and steaks and seafood, all were outstandingly prepared...and to guild the lily a bit more so to speak, shavings of truffles adorned the best egg dish I've encountered. And just as one could not contemplate eating more, along comes a tower of desserts! You would be satisfied with a coffee and a cookie you say? Well, you don't get to pick and choose unfortunately (or fortunately), they bring each and every dessert item to you! What a nice problem to have.
