Traveling with ONE Lens (Tamron 28-200) - Did I Regret It? Travel Review

Traveling with ONE Lens (Tamron 28-200) - Did I Regret It? Travel Review Can one lens really do it all? After putting the Tamron 28-200mm f2.8-5.6 to the ultimate test at Disneyland and the Huntington Library and Gardens, I can highly recommend it. In addition to challenging myself to only using one lens, this is a very versatile lens that allowed me to capture all kinds of moments at different distances that wouldve otherwise needed me to switch lens. Having 28mm at f2.8 was a great thing for the documentary photo approach. The telephoto end was just a joy to capture unique perspectives, or variants of a subject. With the newer Tamron 25-200mm being and including VC, the real advantage here is being able to get this older lens at much reasonable prices now. And if comparing against a 24-105mm F4, i can safely say this Tamron 28-200 was a better option. It gets to F4 and F4.5 very close to the more telephoto ranges where you then greatly benefit from the wide angle allowing more light and then going out to 200mm vs 104mm.
