Genomics Lite: What is a gene?
Our guest speaker for this Genomics Lite is Zachary Ardern a Research Fellow at the Wellcome Sanger Institute. In this Genomics Lite session, Zachary will talk about his work aiming to understand the fundamental questions of biology – “what is a gene?” and “what does it do?”, taking a look at the complex world of genes and what we still don’t know about them. During the session we will explore how the answers to these questions will impact research on evolution, COVID and beyond.
