One of the most significant events of the past year was the visit of world-class cultural figures to the Lviv National Opera - Peter Gelb, the head of one of the most famous opera houses in the world - The Metropolitan Opera, and Keri-Lynn Wilson, a famous Canadian conductor of Ukrainian descent. The visits of the honored guests were united by a unique concert "Dedicated to Invincible Ukraine" conducted by Keri-Lynn Wilson, during which the Lviv Opera Orchestra, Choir and soloists performed Beethoven's Symphony No. 9 and the premiere of "NOVA. Dedication to the Courage of Ukraine" by Victoria Polyova. The culmination of several intense days in Lviv was a warm professional and friendly conversation between Vasyl Vovkun, General Director and Artistic Director of the Lviv National Opera, Peter Gelb, General Director of the Metropolitan Opera, and the incomparable conductor Kari-Lynn Wilson.
