What to expect when volunteering in Uganda, Africa - Vlog

I recently visited Uganda with my a few of my friends to volunteer at a school. Here is vlog of our trip, the reality of what volunteering is really like. I'd highly recommend the experience to anyone who is thinking about it. During our time, we discovered the great need these children have for education, but more importantly the basic necessities including food, shelter and medicine. The village is 76% affected by HIV and Aids and most of the children that attend the school are orphans due to losing their parents to this terrible disease. This has left hundreds of children vulnerable and in severe poverty. During our time in Manywa we witnessed the children’s unwavering positivity, smiles and love, despite the challenges they face every day. Paul, the founder of this charity, has dedicated his life to supporting and educating these children to ensure that they all have the essential resources and knowledge required to survive and thrive.
