The Ultimate MURPHY BED Design in a Ford Transit Campervan | FULL TOUR (Solo Female Van Build)

I designed and built a custom murphy bed as the LAST major project of this campervan conversion! This murphy bed install has been such a long time coming so I’m excited to share a tour of it with you guys. 🙂 This murphy bed design does a few things for me. It keeps my van open during the day, it maximizes room for countertops and overhead shelving/cabinets, and it keeps the daily setup to a comfortable level. It really is perfect for me and my goals with this van build. And now that my rig is officially FULLY LOADED, this was the perfect time to emphasize the importance of having heavy duty rubber springs like Timbren SES kits on a fully loaded campervan. With my factory bump stops, my van was starting to sag in the rear, not because my van is over capacity, but because the factory springs don’t make contact with the axle when resting under normal load.
