How to maintain your Scuba Cylinder, Tank or Bottle at home

After not being able to sort out a leak my wife seemed to have from her pillar valve / first stage, I discovered that the threads and the back of the valve were pretty grubby. this could be from a mix of dirt, moisture or grease. In this video, I show you how I removed it and resolved the leak we thought was caused by a faulty O ring on the DIN fitting of the first stage. Problem solved using a small brass brush and a clean cloth. 🔴 Share this video with a friend:    • How to maintain your Scuba Cylinder, Tank ...   🔴 Subscribe for more Scuba Diving content: https://www.youtube.com/c/AndytheNort... 🔴 Check out our Podcast: https://andythenortherndiver.podbean.... 🔴 Training Agencies and Affiliations: BSAC: https://www.bsac.com/ TDI SDI: https://www.tdisdi.com/ RAID: https://www.diveraid.com/ Northern Diver: https://www.ndiver.com/ Olympus Cameras: https://www.olympus.co.uk/ Mojo Europe: https://www.mojoeurope.com/ Gear Aid: https://gearaid.eu/ Go Tec Dive: http://www.gotecdive.com.br/site/ Stream2Sea: https://stream2sea.com/?ref=dixCPtdlK...
