Time passed, and in January 2023, the cafe was feeling a bit restless. Yes, winter is the season for beavers to fall in love. On January 30, 2023, I had a dream that the cafe and Wakaba were mating. Isn't this a good timing? On February 1st, I went to work hoping that my dream would come true, but the two of them, who usually wake up around 11 o'clock, didn't wake up even at 3 o'clock. I was worried that something was different from usual. My hunch turned out to be correct. I clean the upper pond once every two weeks, and on February 15th, I found a vaginal plug! ️The vaginal plug I found was about 5 to 6 cm long. I was looking for them every time I cleaned the pond, but based on the data from other zoos and aquariums, I expected them to be about 10cm long, so I had a lot of trouble finding them.
