Journey to Journeyman, Episode 5, How I made aluminum stock from cans
In my new series "Journey to Journeyman" I will try to become a proficient machinist. I will be learning how to use my Atlas 618 metal lathe to make parts for my restorations projects. On this episode, I learn how to melt aluminum cans in the back yard and make aluminum bar stock. I hope to use this stock on some lathe projects.
