How to access the engine bay in a Porsche 981 Boxster! Engine cover removal 718, Spyder, filters

A how to video showing how to access the engine bay in a Porsche Boxster 981 or Boxster 718, because the Boxster is mid engined access is more complicated than in a 911 or another vehicle. Watch the Engine cover being removed from a Porsche 981, also applicable to the 718, 981 and 718 Spyder models. Also shown is removal of the engine wall carpet and cover, removing the roof tension straps, and putting the Boxster 981 roof into service mode. You may need to access the access the engine bay for repairs of if you decide to modify the engine, like changing the air plenum, replacing the air filter in a 718 or simply for general maintenance tasks.
