In this video, I'll show you how to mount a universal ROCKBROS quick-release rear rack on my CUBE Reaction Hybrid Pro 800 e-MTB. Since this bike is primarily designed for the ACID rack system, I deliberately looked for a more affordable alternative. I bought the ROCKBROS rack myself, installed it, and have since tested it on three longer rides. Despite my initial skepticism, the rack has remained stable and has pleasantly surprised me. Rubber can settle, wear out, or become porous over time due to stress, movement, dirt, aging, and UV exposure. Therefore, regularly check all mounting points and replace the rubber as needed. The mounting shown is my personal solution on my bicycle. Frame shapes and spacing may vary on other bicycles. Ensure sufficient clearance from the tire, brake disc, brake caliper, brake line, and other moving parts. After the first few rides, all screws and quick-release fasteners should be checked again. I purchased the rack myself. Rubber is a wear item and may compress, become brittle, or wear out due to load, movement, dirt, and UV exposure. Check all mounting points regularly and replace the rubber when necessary. This video shows my individual installation. Frame shapes and clearances may differ on other bicycles. Always check the clearance around the tire, brake disc, brake caliper, brake hose and moving parts.
