This morning on Radio Top Side's Morning Show, Nadine Torcolo interviewed Géraldine and Jérôme, owners of Edwige Coffee in Menton, who are preparing to take on an extraordinary challenge: participating in the Twingo Raid, from February 24th to March 5th, 2026. Their destination: the Moroccan desert… in a Twingo! A ten-day solidarity adventure, for them a rebirth and a triumph over adversity. After battling cancer last year, Jérôme and Géraldine felt the need to live life to the fullest, to take on a significant challenge together. "We were scared… and it made us want to enjoy life even more," says Géraldine. No timing, no rankings, but kilometers of tracks, bivouacking, sand… and a whole lot of emotion. Their Twingo – already equipped for the raid with the necessary gear on the roof – is ready to conquer the dunes! A sporting challenge, but above all a human and charitable one: The participants are supporting Les Restos du Coeur (food and hygiene products) as well as the MJID Foundation, which works to improve living conditions and education in Morocco.
