This section of the KGL Trek passes through beautiful green meadows, pine forests, rivers and stunning Kashmiri mountain landscapes before reaching Nichnai campsite. Day 2️⃣ — Nichnai to Vishansar Lake | 12 KM This part of the Kashmir Great Lakes Trek becomes even more scenic with huge valleys, snow patches and breathtaking Himalayan views. Vishansar Lake is one of the most beautiful lakes of the KGL Trek with crystal clear blue water surrounded by giant mountains. Day 3️⃣ — Vishansar to Gadsar | 15 KM One of the best days of the Kashmir Great Lakes Trek. We crossed high altitude mountain passes, alpine valleys and witnessed some of the rawest Himalayan landscapes while moving towards Gadsar campsite. Day 4️⃣ — Gadsar to Satsar | 12 KM This section of the Kashmir Great Lakes Trek is peaceful yet adventurous with rocky trails, hidden lakes, river crossings and constantly changing weather conditions. Day 5️⃣ — Satsar to Gangbal | 13 KM Gangbal Lake is one of the biggest highlights of the Kashmir Great Lakes Trek. Surrounded by massive Himalayan peaks, this campsite feels absolutely unreal during sunrise and sunset. Day 6️⃣ — Extra Day at Gangbal We spent one more day at Gangbal during our Kashmir Great Lakes Trek to fully enjoy the peaceful atmosphere, mountain reflections and raw Himalayan beauty. Day 7️⃣ — Gangbal → Nundkol Lake → Naranag | 17 KM On the final day of the Kashmir Great Lakes Trek, we explored the beautiful Nundkol Lake, took a dip in the freezing Himalayan water and then descended all the way to Naranag, completing this unforgettable KGL Trek journey ❤️ The Kashmir Great Lakes Trek is honestly a dream trek for every mountain lover.
