Lamu County: Fragmented Forests Part 2
In the last of the series we take a closer look at what is being done to help the people who live in and around Lamu’s forests. Despite recurrent droughts recent investment in water technology has produced some inspiring success stories. We learn that relatively small-scale changes in behaviour can produce big benefits. As Beth Moringa from the Soroko Farmers Association says: ‘…when I talk off coexistence I mean that the community, the animals and the trees are all living in harmony’.
