🛰️ Welcome to the E-BUS Signal Network. After losing two Rattlesnakes in separate engagements, I decided to rethink how I operate in New Eden. Rather than relying on brute force, I’m developing a new doctrine centred on stealth, intelligence and long-range sentry drones. In this episode I deploy my new Proteus into the Serpentis anomalies of Miroitem to test that doctrine under real conditions. The missions go well, the drone concept performs as expected, and I explain my thinking throughout the operation. Then a covert hunter appears. Despite maintaining D-Scan discipline and watching Local, the attack comes only seconds after the decloak. The Proteus is destroyed—but every engagement is another opportunity to analyse what happened and improve both the doctrine and the intelligence behind it. It combines public New Eden data, including zKillboard telemetry and ESI-derived information where available, with analysis designed to help identify activity, understand emerging threats and support better decision-making.
