Star Wars: X-Wing Complete Roland CM-32L/LAPC-I Soundtrack
The original Roland LAPC-I soundtrack to Star Wars: X-Wing. Even as it uses motifs by John Williams, most of the music consists of original compositions by Clint Bajakian, Michael Z. Land, and Peter McConnell. Two pieces - "Returning to Base" and "Death Star Surface" - differ musically between Roland and General MIDI versions and are thus presented in both versions. Notwithstanding the dynamic nature of iMUSE's playback, the MIDI files have been edited such that all snippets that could ever play are included in this recording. A few pieces enable and disable MIDI channels according to on-screen game events; those pieces are presented in multiple loops, one for each "channel enable" state. 0:00:00 - LucasArts Logo 0:00:19 - Opening Crawl 0:01:38 - Imperial Attack 0:03:14 - Launch the X-Wing Fighters 0:05:32 - The Flagship 'Independence' (Registration, Main Hall) 0:08:30 - Film or Tech Room 0:10:46 - Hidden Rebel Training Facilities Briefing 0:15:03 - Training Mission 0:19:17 - Hidden Rebel Combat Training Facilities' Historical Mission Briefing 0:23:03 - Back to Flagship Independence 0:23:28 - Tour of Duty Registration Desk (from Main Hall) 0:24:58 - Tour of Duty Mission Briefing 0:27:28 - Pilot Roster 0:31:12 - Launch 0:32:02 - Cruising (from Silence to Dogfight) 0:32:47 - Imperial Capital Ship Arrives 0:33:02 - Imperial Fighter Arrives 0:33:14 - Anxiety (from Silence to Dogfight) 0:33:58 - Dogfight 0:37:19 - Rebel Fighter Arrives 0:37:32 - Rebel Capital Ship Arrives 0:37:44 - Challenge 0:39:14 - Imperial Fighter Destroyed #1 0:39:23 - Imperial Fighter Destroyed #2 0:39:33 - Imperial Fighter Destroyed #3 0:39:43 - Imperial Fighter Destroyed #4 0:39:52 - Imperial Capital Ship Destroyed 0:40:04 - Anxiety (from Dogfight) 0:41:32 - Cruising (from Dogfight) 0:42:49 - Mission Completed 0:43:31 - Rebel Fighter Destroyed 0:43:44 - Rebel Capital Ship Destroyed 0:44:00 - Failing 0:45:13 - Rescue and Medical Care 0:46:12 - Capture and Torture 0:47:23 - Death and Funeral 0:48:05 - Returning to Base (Roland LAPC-I) 0:48:59 - Returning to Base (General MIDI) 0:49:33 - March of the Recruits (Medal Ceremony) 0:50:38 - View Medals 0:51:45 - Mission Debriefing 0:55:29 - Planet Has Been Secured 0:56:21 - Planting Explosives 0:57:31 - Death Star Destroys Planet 0:59:20 - Rebels Intercept Transmission 1:00:38 - Princess Leia Receives Death Star Plans 1:01:28 - Death Star Surface (Roland LAPC-I) 1:04:24 - Death Star Surface (General MIDI) 1:05:11 - Death Star Destroyed 1:06:25 - Overlord Ghorin's Treachery 1:07:45 - The Rebels Arrive on Hoth 1:08:30 - Credits (Medley)
