The recording dates from 1964 and was included on the LP Jamaica Ska, released in the United States by Atlantic Records in June 1964. Unlike the LP Byron Lee and The Dragonaires Plays Jamaica Ska, this track was not included on the Jamaican edition. However, it was also released as a single a year later on the Giant label in Jamaica and on Rio in the United Kingdom.
