News flash: scoring 250 or even 300 points in one move is usually a surefire way to win a Scrabble game by a massive margin. However, thanks to the annotated game database at cross-tables.com, there appears to be a lone exception to this rule - a game that was shockingly close in spite of one of the largest plays in Scrabble History!
