In this episode, we tackle the final steps before installing an ‪@autometaldirect‬ (AMD) replacement floor pan. After decades of rust and previous repairs, it’s time to make sure the Charger has a solid foundation for the new floor. We start by fabricating and welding the last remaining floor patches, cleaning years of surface rust from the frame and firewall, and creating custom bead-rolled panels for the rear passenger footwells. Using the ‪@arccaptain-weld‬ TIG 205P Pro welder, we carefully TIG weld the custom patches into place and prep the body for its brand-new AMD floor pan. Finally, we test-fit the replacement floor pan and see just how much progress we’ve made on bringing this classic Mopar back from the dead.
