Blausee Switzerland’s Most famous Private Lake

During our trip to Switzerland we wanted to visit a beautiful lake. We ended up in Blausee which is a privately owned lake near Kandersteg. We left our airbnb in Adelboden and in approximately 30 minutes we were at Blausee's main parking in front of the entrance. The private lake is really beautiful and the color of the water is magical. There are BBQ or cafe and also a boat tour you can take. It is a family friendly lake where you can just relax and enjoy the day. The main attraction is the lady at the bottom of the lake looking up. This lady is the symbol of the mythological story of a heartbroken lady who's tears turned the water of the lake into dark blue color.
