Chasing NS 19K with KCS 4167 plus other catches 5-24-2026

On what turned out to be a productive Memorial Sunday, I followed NS 19K on the Marion Branch and former Wabash mainline with KCS 4167 leading the train. CP 8654 had mid train DPU duties on the 164 car train. 2 other trains were captured along the way. Starting out just north of Claypool at MP30, we see 19K again at MP 41, and Milepost 48 south of Bolivar. NS 120 is seen departing Peru on the Huntington District as it heads east into the Wabash Valley approaching the holdout signal. 39N is seen at the Miami County/Cass County line. After getting a fresh crew at Peru, 19K is then seen at New Waverly and Burrows to finish out the day. Thanks for watching.
