Two months ago, the Ukrainian Armed Forces liberated Lukashivka and Yahidne in the Chernihiv region, which were under Russian occupation. Most of the houses in these villages were utterly destroyed. In April, hromadske went to Lukashivka and Yahidne and talked to the locals about how they survived the occupation. Most villagers were not going to leave their places and planned to rebuild their houses. Now the «Repair Together» volunteer initiative from Kyiv is coming to the villages of the Chernihiv region and helping people to rake up the effects of the war and rebuild destroyed houses.
