In early 2025, the hosts of the “Chronicles of the Economy” podcast, Anastasia Dyachkina and Yaroslav Vinokurov, and investment banker Taras Kozak, started an investment race. The rules are simple: each had a conditional 100 thousand hryvnias, which had to be distributed into a portfolio. The winner is the one whose investments will bring the most dividends at the end of the year. According to the rules of the game, we could review our portfolios in half a year. That’s what we did in this episode of the podcast. We also talked about what has changed in the market over the past 6 months, what is happening with the dollar and euro exchange rate, what will be the rates on deposits and government bonds, and what to expect next.
