The classic 90s car radio returns! The reissued cult car radio "Frankfurt RCM 82 DAB" with many new features! Over the years, some models have become true cult objects. This includes the legendary Blaupunkt "Frankfurt RCM 82" from 1992. Now we present a reinterpretation of the popular 1-DIN car radio, combining the unique selling points of the 90s model with new technologies and functions. The result is the Blaupunkt "Frankfurt RCM 82 DAB." Its operating concept, simple design, and crystal-clear reception contributed significantly to the popularity of the original Frankfurt RCM 82. For this new edition, we have retained the styling of the original model, while also giving the radio modern Vario Color illumination for the buttons and display. Excellent reception remains a strength of the new modern classic car radio thanks to the Blaupunkt Codem IV FM RDS and DAB+ tuner. New features include numerous interfaces, including two USB ports, an AUX port, and a microSD slot. Audio streaming via Bluetooth is also no longer a distant prospect for this returning legend. Furthermore, the radio bears the "Made for iPhone/iPod" label, ensuring compatibility. All audio sources can be selected directly via buttons, and many other settings can also be accessed at the touch of a button. Additional functions are located in the clearly structured menu, which is available in German or English. All settings are permanently saved even when the battery is disconnected. This brings the entertainer from the 90s into the present. The new "Frankfurt RCM 82 DAB" has a short installation depth – ideal for classic cars with shorter installation slots. But it's not just the car radio itself that takes the user on a journey through time; the packaging of the device has also been elaborately designed and modeled after the original. The original unit was popular in the 1990s in VW Golf IIIs, Ford Escorts, BMW E30/E34/E36s, Opel Kadetts, MB W124/R129/W140s, Porsche 911/944/928s, and many more. Now it returns as the "Frankfurt RCM 82 DAB" in its original form, but with state-of-the-art technology. And with "Variocolour" (4,096 colors), the illuminated buttons and display can be perfectly customized to the color of the car model for a harmonious overall look.
