Priorities for the Emergency Medicine Journal in 2026

In January I started as Editor in Chief at the Emergency Medicine Journal, trying to follow the legendary Ellen Weber! Here, I've decided to set out our three top priorities for the journal in 2026: (1) Improving emergency care; (2) excellent author and reader experience; (3) social responsibility. I have the honour of working with an amazing team, who will I'm sure keep continually teaching me how to do things better - and with them, and your support, I'm sure we're going to keep the EMJ at the top of its game in emergency care!
