Projet CNC Bois : des fourchettes à salade de A à Z

In this video, I'll show you how to make a pair of chestnut wood salad forks entirely using a Genmitsu 4040 Pro Max CNC machine. I've also made the 3D files for the fork available (link at the bottom of the page). We'll start by designing the 3D model in FreeCAD, taking into account the ergonomic shape and the curvature of the forks. Next, we'll generate the toolpaths and G-code with Kiri:Moto, before preparing for machining on the CNC. You'll discover all the manufacturing steps: choosing the wood, clamping the piece, machining both faces, turning it over, finishing the edges, sanding, and highlighting the natural grain of the chestnut. A complete video that covers the entire process, from the initial idea to the finished cutlery, ideal for enthusiasts of wood CNC machining, 3D modeling, and handcrafted items. 🔧 Software used: FreeCAD Kiri:Moto gSender 🪵 Material: Solid chestnut 🛠️ Machine: Genmitsu 4040 Pro Max CNC Social media: Discord server:   / discord   Instagram:   / woodfrog_atelier   YouTube:    / @woodfrog   YouTube:    / @woodfrogevolution   Website: https://www.woodfrog.fr/ Amazon affiliate links: Old cabinetmakers' foundry: https://amzn.to/4nKVsLU 5 6mm hemispherical router bits: https://amzn.to/3QN1Vev 10 1/8" hemispherical router bits: https://amzn.to/497dRxS Non-toxic resin: https://amzn.to/4xiyNMR Mica powder: https://amzn.to/4ezlzmz 3D file link: https://www.thingiverse.com/Woodfrog_...
