relative velocity rolling wheel
This question really tests your ability to apply the relative motion formula Va/b = Va - Vb. A few consequences of this are that the bottom of the wheel rotating has an instantaneous velocity of 0m/s ! Something that might be very counter intuitive! That's because the translational component of velocity perfectly cancels out the rotational component of the velocity. A truly outstanding result.
