Taya Korotchenko is a silver medalist at the International Mathematics Olympiad, a student at the Faculty of Mathematical Sciences at St. Petersburg State University, and a graduate of Lyceum No. 239. Before Lyceum No. 239, Taya attended a language school and had no interest in mathematics, but in fifth grade, she entered the legendary Mathematics Center. In eighth grade, she won her first All-Russian competition, and in eleventh grade, an international competition.
