MASWings ATR72-500 | A unique flight experience and the trip to the rain forest in Borneo

Welcome to my 637th flight on MASWings from Kota Kinabalu to Mulu. MASWings will be taken over by Sarawak Government from 2026 and re-branded as Borneo Air, thus this might be my last opportunity flying with them. MASWings still offer complimentary check-in luggage and refreshment onboard, which is always good for domestic flights within East Malaysia. I have been flying MASWings since 2011, within East Malaysia. They are owned by Malaysia Airlines and subsidised by Sarawak Government on some rural routes within Sarawak. It is sad to see them leaving, but at the same time excited to see a new airlines which will be taking over routes within and beyond Sarawak. In this video, I will show you outbound flight from BKI to MZV, where you will get the opportunity to experience the unique landing in remote and isolated airport in Borneo rain forest.
