GUESTS Krystyna Dąbrowska Poet, essayist, and translator. She graduated from the Graphic Arts Department of the Academy of Fine Arts in Warsaw. She writes literary essays and translates English-language poetry. Her translations of poems by W.C. Williams, W.B. Yeats, Thomas Hardy, and Thom Gunn have been published in "Literature in the World." Her most recent collections of poetry include "Miasto z Indu" (City from Indu) and "Ścieżki dźwiękowe" (Soundtracks). She has previously published "Czas i przełona" (Time and the Shutter), "Białe krzesełe" (White Chairs), and her debut "Biuro podróży" (Travel Agency). She is a recipient of the Warsaw Literary Award. Andrzej Leder Philosopher, psychiatrist, and psychoanalytic psychotherapist. Professor at the Institute of Philosophy and Sociology of the Polish Academy of Sciences. He is the author of the academic books "The Transformation of Myths, or Life in an Age of Decline. A Collection of Essays," "The Unconscious as a Void," "Freud's Teaching in the Age of Sein und Zeit," and "A Scratch on the Surface." His most acclaimed work, "The Dreamt Revolution: Exercises in Historical Logic," was nominated for the Nike Literary Award. Małgorzata Szumowska Film director, screenwriter, and producer. Born in Krakow, she graduated from the Łódź Film School. She made her debut in 2000 and caused a stir with her partially autobiographical film "33 Scenes from Life." Among her most acclaimed films are "Body" and "Tarz," for which she won Silver Bear awards at the Berlinale. Naomi Watts starred in "Infinite Storm," which she directed. Szumowska's latest film, "Woman with...", tells the story of a transgender person – Aniela Wesoła, who was born Andrzej.
