24 Hours at NIAGARA FALLS New York 🇺🇸 Maid of the Mist Boat Tour, Cave of the Winds, Light Show

In this USA Travel Vlog, we made it to Niagara Falls American side! This was one of our favorite days in the USA!! If you're wondering about going to Niagara Falls, it's definitely worth it! We drove into Niagara and parked by the One Niagara Welcome Center. We then went inside and asked about tickets...and they tried to sell us a package deal that cost over $120 per person! This is NOT where you buy tickets at Niagara Falls!!! We left the welcome center and walked toward the official visitor center in the Niagara Falls State Park. Even though it was under construction, they explained to us that you can buy individual tickets at each attraction which works out to be much cheaper! We went next door to Maid of the Mist and purchased our tickets there for $28.25 each. You actually can't book these tickets ahead of time. We were lucky as we arrived the weekend after Labor Day in September so there were no lines at all! First you walk up onto the observation deck which has AMAZING views of the falls! You then go down an elevator and they give you a blue poncho to wear (the Canadian side also has a boat tour but they wear red). We got right on the next boat. It was so much fun!! We were shocked by how close you get to the falls and how powerful the water really is! This was our highlight of the day! When we got off the boat, instead of going up the elevator we decided to follow signs to the Crow's Nest. We got a little wet on the boat....but on the Crow's Nest we got SOAKED!!! We actually don't think it was really worth it as you get extremely wet but there wasn't a view. However it would be cool to check out if you don't want to pay for Cave of the Winds which was our next stop! We walked along the Niagara Falls State Park and across he bridge to Goat Island. It wasn't a long walk at all. We were then able to buy tickets to Cave of the Winds for $21 each. This one is only open during the warmer months as you get WET! Cave of the Winds starts in a museum area where you can learn about the history of the falls before watching an interesting 6 minute video then going down the elevator. You arrive in a tunnel that leads out to the wooden platforms. For this one they give you a yellow poncho. The platforms are a one way route. They said it would take 30 minutes, however it was shorter than that. It was amazing how close you can get to the falls! The highlight of the Cave of the Winds is the Hurricane Platform where you get hit by the water and DRENCHED!!! We wish we had worn different shoes as our sneakers were soaked! After Cave of the Winds we drove to our hotel Aaron House. It's marketed as a living museum from the Civil War era. It was such a neat place to stay! The bnb was full of history and even had QR codes on the walls to learn more about the house. Our favorite part was the hidden doors around the house! It was cheaper to stay there than the main hotels and also a really interesting experience! For dinner we decided to go to the Hard Rock. It was Carles's first time and he loved it! After dinner we walked to the Seneca Niagara Casino (the only casino on the American side). After the casino we walked to Rainbow Bridge. You can actually walk across the bridge between the USA and Canada...however we weren't sure how it would work with Carles's Spanish passport so we just stayed on the American side. We walked back down to the Niagara Falls State Park and were able to watch both the light show on the waterfalls as well as fireworks! It was such an amazing day! ------------------------------------------ 📧 BUSINESS INQUIRIES: [email protected] SUPPORT THE CHANNEL: 🥰Memberships: https://www.youtube.com/@NataliesPass...
