WERWULF Trailer spiegato! Di cosa parlerà DAVVERO EGGERS?

Werwulf: Robert Eggers' New Horror Film Explained (Official Trailer) Robert Eggers returns to the big screen after the success of Nosferatu with "Werwulf," his new gothic horror film set in 13th-century England. In the newly released trailer, Aaron Taylor-Johnson plays a man haunted by a lycanthropic curse, while a rural village is terrorized by a mysterious creature lurking in the fog. In this video, I analyze every detail of the trailer: the transformation into a werewolf, Eggers' signature dark atmosphere, and what the first footage reveals about the film's plot. The cast features a full Nosferatu reunion: in addition to Taylor-Johnson, Lily-Rose Depp, Willem Dafoe, and Ralph Ineson. Eggers co-wrote the screenplay with Sjón, his longtime collaborator on The Northman, and the film will even use dialogue in Middle English for historical authenticity. Jarin Blaschke's 4:3 cinematography recalls the claustrophobic style of The Lighthouse and The Witch. "Werwulf" opens in theaters on December 25, 2026, distributed by Focus Features, following the same Christmas release strategy as Nosferatu.
