Driving to Pocono Lake, Pennsylvania from Midtown Manhattan

August 17th, 2019 - Started out on a Saturday afternoon from NYC to the Pocono's in Pennsylvania. Took a pretty typical route - headed west to New Jersey through the Lincoln tunnel, then merged onto 280 west until switching onto I-80 west all the way through the Delaware River Gap, crossing into PA. Then continuing on through Stroudsburg towards the Poconos. Return trip the following evening was similar, although there was pretty horrible traffic on I-80 East that we tried to by pass by going on PA local route 611 after stoping by the Barley Creek Brewing company. Also severe thunderstorm/down pour on the way back to NYC. Uneventful drive.
