Snowy Thunderbolt Test With 2001 Ambience, Bloomington, MN (1/4/23, 1:00)

The last functional Thunderbolt 1000T in Bloomington MN, located atop a cellular tower at Normandale Village, sounding Alert and Attack. This video was taken approximately 350 ft. from the base of the siren's pole. Just a quick video I managed to capture the day before I left for my new job, I only had one camera on me at the time, so this isn't really one of my higher effort videos. I was originally planning to get a shot of West Bank with the Minneapolis skyline in the background, but the snow ruined those plans, so I decided to head much closer to home to get a recording of Bloomington's remaining Thunderbolt instead. The snow did kind of ruin the shot, but it still turned out better than Park Rapids, so I can't exactly complain. The siren seemed to be a bit underpowered, at first I simply attributed this to the snow stuck to the screen muffling the sound, but the siren appeared to struggle to rotate, and it sounded like the blower wasn't pushing enough air through either. These problems, however, did seem to partially solve themselves during the Attack cycle, so I'm really not sure what the cause would have been. Just a fun last minute video with some killer 2001 ambience.
